"I wanna tell you something, at a certain point in your life, probably when too much of it has gone by. You will open your eyes, and see yourself for who you are. Especially for everything that made you so different from all the awful normals. And you will say to yourself but I am this person, and in that statement, there will be a kind of love. what is ur name women?!

"MY NAME IS A 1989 RED WINE"

what's the definition of maturity?
How must one behave to be classified as 'mature'?
must one be 'mature' to talk sensibly?
Is maturity equivalent to age?

What is the definition to childish?
Why can't one be childish?
Is it wrong to be Childish?

I will not try to answer the above questions
but here are my opinions.
whether or not u agree with me is entirely up to u.
but feel free to comment.

[extracted from www.dictionary.com]
child·ish /ˈtʃaɪldɪʃ/
–adjective
1. of, like, or befitting a child: childish games.
2. puerile; weak; silly: childish fears.
ma·ture [muh-toor, -tyoor, -choor, -chur]
adjective
3. fully developed in body or mind, as a person: a mature woman.
5. completed, perfected, or elaborated in full by the mind: mature plans.
10b. having attained the end stage of a normal or abnormal biological process: a mature boil.

so in my own words, MATURE means to be able to do things logically.
eg. eating with spoon, spoon goes to mouth not ears.
and frankly that IS all to maturity.
why must the human mind make maturity sound so condemning like
its a judgement cast by God.
For God did not say if we do childish things he won't love us.
so why should we restrict ourselves to such conformities?
(of cos i do not mean going around killing pp is childish ok.)
Just because its a norm?
we should all follow?
who said that a 27 year old have to behave like a 27 yr old?
individuals evolve at their own rate n speed.
living thru different phases of their lives at different times.
eg. a 18 yr old wanting to get married, settle down and have children,
while a 30 yr old still wanting to live a life of a carefree beach bummer.
who became a judge of non norm conformist?

At the end of the day, i'm sure u'll agree with me
that in whatever we do we want to be HAPPY.
so who said conforming to norms will lead to happiness?
in fact there are many examples out there who are evidence to unhappiness.
Because they were being pushed/pressured into conforming with norms.

So in a nutshell,
DON'T BE AFRAID TO DEFY NORMS
cos norms were created by man not God.
To those non conformist out there,
FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS.
BE WHO YOU WANNA BE.
Most importantly,
BE
HAPPY!!!

dO U dArE?!?!

thru out all the ages
from centuries to centuries,
money was the key to success.
But in this day and age,
does success take in a form of wealth.
NO.
To many people now a days,
success is very subjective.
To some success is to acquire as many material things as possible.
To some success is to be able to lead a comfortable life with a family.
To some success is to have a prospering business.
To some success is to have 6/7 digits figure in their bank accounts.
To some success is to fulfill their life long dream.
so what is yours?
____________________..._____________________
To me i don't need to be successful.
I just need to be Happy.
Yet Happiness is also...
Subjective.

ITs AnG BaO TimE!!!

YEAH!!!! its the time of the year again... tho as we grow older the CNY spirit diminishes but its still a happy and joyous occasion.

I'll nv forget all the good times i've spent when i was a child chasing along the corridors at Race Course road with my silly cousins, using our angbao money to buy sweets n 'ti kam ti kam' from the mama shop (though was owned by a chinese) next door. Remembering the noise made by the tin can on the pulley going up n down. *ching! *ching! Also the unforgettable lion dance going to every household performing the aspicious dance bringing us good luck and good fortune. How time flies as we wonder thru the years growing up, forgetting the littlest things in life which brings us joy to our live at such tender age.
Going to chinatown wasn't a routine in my family but i took upon myself to visit the rowdy crowd to be immerse in the festivities (and getting lost - its part of our (my frens n i) tradidtion). This year to avoid the masses, we arrived nearly before closing and met some unwanted 'friends' the rubbish truck!! haha we literally being chased by it, and its enterance pathed our way ard (pp fled as they saw it coming). It was quite scary yet thrilling at the same time.

this year visitation seemed a little weird or more like awkward, when there're moments of silence with relatives i only see once a year. haiz. but all in all, the CNY was a 'fruitful' one for me. I gained 3Kgs and received $390 worth of angbao!! cool!! mainly given by my uncle godma n bro. their pockets must have a hugh hole now. keke. Thanks for your generousity!!! bcos they believe the more u give the more u'll receive!!
