I only have one person to blame for denying the life i could have had.
myself.

my life journey is almost like a test of all sorts.
testing theories, hypothesis, and life philosophies.
not knowing the significances of these test.
results sometimes or rather most of the time screwing up my life
so bad i cause my own depression.
haha

The second decade of my life can be summarized with the following hypothesis....

could man's love replace God's love? .....No
can girls also lust with out love? .....No
life in poverty have more life experiences... ....Maybe
being poor will understand the importance of saving... saving...

Sigh.... its bad enough i'm such a fickle person.
Suddenly there's been plenty of issues to be decided upon.

when it comes to making decisions...
there are many elements aiding the choices
and knowledge is one of those elements.
to be able to recognize and accept the results is the deciding factor

from deciding what to eat, to determining my future
I have to settle on one out of the multiple options
if I'm lucky I get to pick two or more.
but what are the odds
especially when its about my life,
and possibly my future.
i wished i had some answers or a glimpse of tomorrow

How do I make a decision when I've the
"you won't know if you don't try" kinda attitude
time is the other element.
is it on my side... or is it not?

when I'm stuck at a ' Y ' junction, I'd
weigh the possibilities
examine the consequences
source for solutions
evaluate my personalities
and concur.
i hope.

There are times when i didn't need to think.
there are times when I've decided way before its time.
at times i take 3 seconds, 3 minutes, or even 3 hours.
and other times i took 3 days, 3 months,
and if I've the luxury of time 3 years.

But now its happiness vs money
the life long battle since our fore fathers
and it has and will remain this way.

happier person or a wealthier person?
better job prospect Vs studies
the industry i love Vs the industry that i can excel in

is the course right for me?
which course should i pursue?
will i pursue the industry i studied?
should i go back to previous vocation?
or should i start a new?
am i suited for this new industry?
i know i'm versatile but is the job flexible?

Had the most exhausting week ever....
entering another long n treacherous week...

making me slightly paranoid...

my personal todo list is buliding up like a sky scraper
lack of slp isn't helping... insomnia pls leave me alone
total hours of slp i have a week doesn't even add up to 30hrs
i need water... i need slp... i need pain killers....

i'm totally thrilled when a friend told me that she 'follows' my blog...

the first thing that came to my mind was '' wow some crazy people out there actually wanna read my crap!!! is that cool or wat!!!" hahaha

Be it for entertainment (cos they're bored outta their pants or their mouse randomly clicked onto my blog) or inspiration (i can be quite motivating too man!! u haven't see my power of DIssuasion hahaha) or even for updates of yours truly (happening n not so happenings abt my oh so boring yet busy life)...

i mean this means alot to me...

For those who are reading this for the first time... thanks for tuning in... i hope to bring u more crap soon... but for those who've been faithfully checking up my dusty cob webbed blog... u've noticed i've recently revamped it a little bit... ok whole lot la.

it used to be a dark, pessimistic, melancholic, rebellious, depressive blog where i post dreadfully oppressing stuff... hating people, hating wat they do, hating everything including myself... eventually killing myself and going to heaven and here i am writing to you... yeah right... hahaha

Although i'm not in heaven YET! *happy gasp* thankfully....

i'd like to tell the whole world that life is really not as bad as most people put it.

And when people say time will tell.... they really do...

Many things in life takes time to experience and as some people put it "u're destined to..." and i believe that God has prepared everything for us nicely.... he is like person behind the computer in fast and furious controlling all the traffic lights... if we screw up he'll create an opening for us to go... everything is all planned for... by him... even the lessons we have to learn (the hard way).
hey don't get me wrong... i don't mean that God planned the bad things upon us... HE knows we will make mistakes cos we are human, but HE hopes that we don't sin or continue sinning....

You must be thinking "aw u're saying this cos my life is sweet now..."

NO. my life isn't.... in fact its the opposite. i dun need hang my dirty laundry in public but i can tell u my life is not the best right now.

But i think bcos of this.... it has gotten me to think that if life isn't so bad... why make it worse by being grumpy n grouchy n be a pest to everyone ard me, when i can be happy? The problem wouldn't go away but at least life is bearable for me and everyone else.

so i say to ALL OF YOU reading this blog...

Try.... (why do i say try? cos i know its so damn hard!!) to be HAPPY...

Constantly find things to thank God for...

ESPECIALLY the bad things...

Thank God for the annoying people ard me...

if they dun irritate me i might be able to learn how to be patient.

Thank God for things screwing up last min or not going to plan...

if all things go smoothly and as to plan i would be conceited and will not be able to think critically on my feet.

i recently started working at an international coffee place as a barista...

christmas 2009 is one of the best christmas i've had..

friends n family all around me... (i'm not depressed)

feel sooooo loved by everyone...

recently its been a rush of endorphins flowing thru my body

i feel so cool calm collected.

nothing can put me off.

its like a breath of fresh air thru my system.

so liberating...

i literally feel happier...

why? i can't put a finger to it either.

but here's a couple of reasons...

#1 - "nothing ventured nothing gained" i lost my weight i gained my confidence (not arrogance)

#2 - i've finally stopped searching n starting living life.

#3 - decision to step out...

whatever the reason is...

i'm going to bask in this feeling as long as it last...

i maybe cheerful n carefree on the outside
but i'm surely not on the inside.

i'm as sensitive to the following words as the laser sensors in the museum

FAILURE USELESS

i was raised with these words thrown at me like a dog playing fetch.
i was young and emotionally weak,
i didn't know how to deal with these emotions
i could only rebel, trying hard to prove my worth.
but i soon found out my efforts were in vain.
Rebelling against those words were not an easy task.
each time i rebelled, my actions only proved my inability and my immaturity.

therefore i simply accepted it in due time.

as the years went by those words were the major triggers.
And often getting hurt time after time,
soon i've built an immunity to them.
What i do to prevent myself from harm?
when someone throws an arrow at me,
i'll stab myself a few time as hard as i can. (figure of speech of cos)
so that when the arrow hits me.
i would be too numb to feel anything.

after acquiring this skill i could longer feel pain so easily
and i grew to like this numb sensation.
but on hindsight, i became less sensitive to others,
and that was not good (as i'm told).

what have i become?
i can no longer love myself nor anyone
no matter how much i try.
the scar has eternally disfigured my esteem.

easily distracted. can not pay attention for more than 15-20mins
dislike reading cos feel sleepy after reading 1 or 2 pages
reading a paragraph/sentence more than 3 times to comprehend it fully.
taking 2X or even 3X more time than others to finish reading a chapter
skipping/switching/missing out/adding words while reading sentences
moderate to bad hand & leg co-ordination
can not play ball games or play poorly
excell in puzzzles and logic games

To people put there who have such a problem, dun be afraid there are treatment for it so do have a look at the website linked and start having a better life. DOn't put urself in anymore stress.

n u saw a elderly man chasing away someone for a woman (not pregnant) and her pre schooling children to sit.

so now what if the person ignored the man
and the man started to yell

READERS. here are some information abt taipei i picked up while holidaying there,
tho info may not be very accurate due to recent price hike from the Taiwan-China relations but its the most recent (travelled in end april 2008).

International air port is at TAO YUAN. or u mite can check which airport ur flight takes u to.
i took jetstar n i landed at TAO YUAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

from there u can take a airport express bus to taibei cost

FREEGO or 'fei gou' (flying dog)

NT$135

or another alternative is to take the TAIWAN HIGH SPEED RAIL (tai wan gao tie)

the card is called easy card or 'you you ka' buy value NT$500 deposite NT$100
top up at the control station when nececssary

taxi is called 'xiao huang' (small yellow) not 'de shi'

** Best to change all NT currency in sing as there are very very few money exchanger in the taiwan. plus exchange rates not good. Most ATMs can use our local cards just make sure of the necessary signs, ie. cirrus or plus are there.

Cabs are not very expensive there so no worries if u wanna travel till late.
MRT in taibei : last train leaves 1st station at 12mn.

shopping in taibei
*all/most nite market opens till late 1 to 2am

buying in bulk

go to wu fen pu (like pratunam in BKK)
take taibei MRT to hou shan pi (blue line) and its a 5mins wallk away from station.

cheap only if buying more then 3/5 pcs

need abt 2 nites or 1 full day.
special things to note : look for hu xu zhang (beardy zhang) to eat lu rou fan (braised meat rice) - one word shiok!!

night market

shilin nite market (shi lin ye shi) and shilin market place (shi lin shi chang)
take MRT to jian tan station (red line) n walk across the road n u'll see the market place 1st then further down is the nite market
similar to chatuchak of BKK (a lot stalls sells similar stuff)
needs abt 2 to 3 nites (only opens at nite)
best go on mon to wed cos fri to sun super pack can not shop properly
bargaining depends on shop holders not like BKK taiwanese very reluctant to lower price unless very desperate.
more unique individual shops in nite market.
MUST EAT : famous chicken cutlet (ji pa) only buy from the stall in the pic attached the blue sign board one.

its in front of the cinema (u can ask the locals where the cinema is cos its a bit diff for me to direct u there)
also do eat the mango ice (mang guo bing). taiwan's ICE shaving is frozen milk. (just fyi in case u dun like milk keke)
also try their local fav drink 'ai yu bing' its like our ice jelly.

dan shui (i didnt manage to go but its quite worth going)

take MRT to dan shui station on the red line (north last station)

know for their yu ren ma dou (fisherman jetty)
there are nite market and game stalls
walk down the the river (romantic place for lovers)

sight seeing in taibei

taibei 101 & new york new york

best to go 2nd half of the day as the nite view of 101 tower is nicer

alight at taipei city hall station (blue line)
there's a bus at the exit to Taipei 101
shopping of very all the branded stuff.
is like taka n paragon combine

Mao Kong

mountain view of taipei
known for their tea plantation and country side tea houses (very relaxing)
take MRT to taipei zoo station on the brown line (last station down south)
then walk to cable car tower
tickets can use the 'easy card'
cable car tide takes abt 30 to 40 mins
best to visit place in the morning, will take abt half of the day.
temperature ranges abt 19-22 degrees

jiu fen N jin gua shi

known as the ancient mountain city (looks like japan).
and jin gua shi know for their hand painted rocks
take MRT to zhong xiao fu xing exit at exit #1
take jiu fen bus from the bus stop opp SOGO (bus stop is in front of 7-11)

bus ride takes abt 1&half hrs plus
take a walk down the 'old alley' (where the shops r)
temp ard 21-23 degrees

other place to visit in taipei :

hot spring at bei tou

whole stretch of hot spring 'houses'
take MRT to bei tou station on the red line (north)

xi men ding (shopping)

shops closes early (1130-12mn) in xi men ding
go find jolin cai's manicure place (i dunno where either)
check out the oyster mee sua "ah zhong mee sua"

always long q. many pp stanging outside eating

taipei city hall
zhong zhen ji nian guan
yang ming shan (like mt faber in sing)

budget Hotel recommendation : in heart of xi men ding district

dong long da fan dian (east dragon hotel)

clean service good,
hotel staff very pleasant
$1800NT per nite

paradise hotel

relatively clean
looks eclectic
service good

Food must try :

smelly tou fu (must eat with sauce/chilli - then not so smelly)
fan tuan (rice 'ball')
mochi
fried oyster "o lua jian"
ma la steamboat

average buffet steamboat is NT$350 pax
can try 'tian tian' (red sign board ) or 'fei tian' (blue sign board)

oyster mee sua

some dun have oyster cos its seasonal but most of them have pig intestines

tian bu la (local yong tao fu dry with sweet sauce)
kong wan (gigantic meat ball)
shui jian bao 'water fry bao'

can find a lady selling at the exit at zhong xiao fu xing station taking bus to jiu fen.
try all! keke... 1 is not enough.
